Tonight I went to a very interesting dinner with John Bruton, 'the EU's man in Washington'. It was interesting to have his thoughts about the financial situation here and the relashionship between Europe and the US. When I came to see him, he thought I was Russian!! I was fortunate to be able to attend the probably last official appearance of our Consul Philippe Larrieu. It was pretty moving especially since we did a lot of things together and Philippe Larrieu really helped our community to reach out. Philippe honored FANiOC with his presence for one of our first mixers back in April.
